Originally from the historic Belle Meade area of Nashville, Tennessee, I graduated from Hillsboro High School, attended David Lipscomb College and the University of Tennessee. Atlanta has been my home since 1970.
Previous to real estate, I was a Business Development Coordinator for a high-profile Atlanta architectural firm. This background in architecture coupled with a strong commitment to my clients is an asset to both seller and buyer. My ultimate goal is to make the process of buying and selling your home enjoyable, trouble free and financially advantageous to you.

Atlanta has been my home since 1970. Having been raised in Chattanooga and attended Baylor School and Brainard High School and Auburn University and the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, I have a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.

The floor covering business was my occupation for over thirty years until I became a licensed realtor a few years ago. Seeing an opportunity with the McAlister Home Group as they sell more investment properties, and having managed our personal rental properties for over thirty years, the natural evolution was to become licensed and join the team. Doing the research and putting investment opportunities before the client is something I truly enjoy.

Consider hiring the services of a real estate management company if you find that rental management is not for you.
Our rental property services include:

  • Advertise your property for rent
  • Show available property and interview prospective tenants.
  • Screen best candidates for property.
  • Submit tenant’s information to a third party to evaluate.
  • Prepare the lease.
  • Conduct the move-in inspection.
  • Turn the property over to the owner.

As an Atlanta native, I have gained an invaluable familiarity with the City. Growing up in Midtown, going to school in Sandy Springs, and church in Buckhead, I quickly learned many different areas. As an adult in real estate, I have found this knowledge really helps me with clients as we navigate various neighborhoods.

As a part of the McAlister Home Group, I am proud to be part of a team that has over 40 years of experience in the business just between Marilyn and me. Having been raised in this business, I was able to easily make the transition into an agent once I obtained my license. Being around real estate from an early age has allowed me to pursue my greatest passion: helping people. I can think of few better ways to help clients than assisting them bring their dreams to reality with the purchase and sale of their home.

In the past few years, I have pursued higher and higher levels of education to allow me to be a better agent for my clients. Feel free to ask me about any of my courses and programs.

Thank you for the opportunity to earn your business.
