Center for Puppetry Arts                                                                                                                                               The center is 25 years old and is dedicated to the art of puppetry. Today, it is the largest American organization which is solely dedicated to puppet theater in Atlanta. There are regular performances for all audiences and a beautiful historical museum.

High Museum of Art                                                                                                                                                          A new High opened up on Nov. 12, 2007 with three new buildings that cover an additional 177,000 sq. ft. The center coordinates exhibitions, special events and educational programs related to all types of art including African, American, European, contemporary, folk and modern.

Jimmy Carter Library and Museum                                                                                                                             The library is dedicated to preserving the memory and presidency of Jimmy Carter. The archives include 27 million pages on Carter’s administration including photographs and video tapes.

Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park                                                                                                          This 2,888 acre park preserves an important Civil War Battlefield. Explore this beautiful park and its historic landmark which includes three different battlefield sites.

Margaret Mitchell House & Museum                                                                                                                          This is the birthplace of Gone With the Wind. The museum opened on December 15, 1999, marking the 60th anniversary of the movie premier in Atlanta.

Martin Luther King Jr. Center                                                                                                                                      This center was established by Coretta Scott King in dedication and memory of her husband, Martin Luther King, Jr. The center illustrates his philosophy, life and teachings.
